Where is Mosman Beach located?
Mosman Beach is located south of Cottesloe Beach and North of Leighton Beach, 11km’s south west of Perth city.
How to Get There
There is plenty of free parking at Mosman Beach, and it’s only a short drive from Perth city. It’s also located along the Fremantle Train Line and Mosman Beach is only a short walk along shared walk & cycle paths from the North Fremantle or Victoria Street Train Stations.
What facilities are at Mosman Beach?
There are not a lot of facilities at Mosman Beach. If you want a shower or toilets, Leighton Beach is a short walk south and has these facilities available.
Are there places to eat nearby?
Mosman Beach is popular for mobile food trucks and coffee vans. During summer you can find The Beach Bus in the carpark where you can enjoy an acai bowl or healthy smoothie at the open air, sandy floor cafe area set up in front of the bus. If you’d like to sit down at an established restaurant or cafe, Bib & Tucker and The Orange Box Cafe is just a short stroll south at Leighton Beach or take a short drive to Cottesloe for lots more cafes and restaurants.
Are dogs allowed at Mosman Beach?
Yes, Mosman Beach is a dog exercise area, so your dog will love having a run, off the lead. It’s a great place to meet with other dogs and their owners.
What makes Mosman Beach a popular Perth Beach?
Mosman Beach definitely has casual weekend morning outing vibes. It features a long and wide white, sandy stretch of beach, perfect for swimming, walking and lazing on the beach. The waters are usually calm so it’s perfect for swimming and paddle activities and finishing off with a coffee, smoothie or acai bowls and a quick chat with friends.
