There are a three different pool areas at the Lagoon Brisbane to suit different ages and recreational needs. These include –
Streets Beach

Pools range in depth from 1.8m to zero depth splash areas. Some areas of the pool are ramp or beach entry with a gradual increase in depth.

The Lagoon Brisbane is always open, however Lifeguard times vary throughout the year.
Are dogs allowed at the Lagoon Brisbane?
Dogs are not allowed on the beach, however they are allowed on pathways around the pools when on a leash and under control.
Is the pool patrolled by Lifeguards?
Yes lifeguards do patrol the pools and patrol times vary throughout the year.
Are their restaurants and cafes nearby?
Yes there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, with a couple overlooking the pools. Dining venues include Cold Rock, South Beach Restaurant and South Bank Beer Garden.
Can you put up cabanas / shade shelters?
Bring your own shade shelters or cabanas are not permitted. There are lots of shaded areas around the 3 pool areas.
What facilities are available?
Facilities at the Lagoon Brisbane include showers, toilets, deckchairs and BBQ’s. In addition to surrounding restaurants and cafes, there is a souvenir store nearby with all your day out at the pool / beach needs with towels, buckets, bathers, inflatables and more.
