What accommodation types are available?
For those seeking a touch of comfort amidst the rugged terrain, the park offers a range of cabins and units. These accommodations are designed to provide a comfortable place to stay after a day of adventure, complete with modern amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. The option to stay in a caravan or campsite is also available for those who prefer a closer connection to nature.
What are the features of the cabins/units?
The park features a range of one and two bedroom cabins that sleep from 2-4 people. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Deluxe Cabin that had a queen bed in one room and a bunk in the second room. It was very spacious, practical and comfortable for our stay in Karratha and made a great place to sleep and relax while we weren’t out adventuring. The cabin also had a fully contained kitchen, tv, dining room, washing machine and dryer. There was even a hair dryer, towels and shampoo & conditioner. It literally had everything we needed, very much like a home away from home.
Are the campsites shaded?
All the campsites are on lovely green grass and there are lots of well established trees that provide natural shade.
Does Discovery Parks Pilbara Karratha have a pool?
Yes, Discovery Parks Pilbara does have a pool, located at the front of the park. It’s beautifully landscaped with rugged red rocks that match the Pilbara surroundings and green grass around the shaded pool. We love taking some time out to cool off in the pool and lounge on the many sun loungers located around the pool.

Discovery Parks Pilbara Karratha is located just a short drive from The Good Grocer Karratha IGA, Karratha Leisureplex, the Yaburara Heritage Walk and the Karratha Town Centre where you can find a large shopping centre that includes a Coles and Woolworths.
