Mullaloo Beach is located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia approximately 25km’s north of Perth city.
How to Get There
There is plenty of free parking at Mullaloo Beach and it’s only a short drive from Perth city. It’s also easily accessed by bike from the coastal pathway that extends both south and north from here to other popular Perth beaches.
Is the beach patrolled?
Yes, Mullaloo Beach is patrolled at peak times at the main beach section in from of the Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club.

Are dogs allowed at Mullaloo Beach?
Dogs are not permitted on the beach or at Tom Simpson Reserve (Mullaloo Beach grassed area).
What makes Mullaloo a popular Perth beach?
Mullaloo Beach is popular with everyone from families with young children to the elderly and everyone in between, because of its wide open, long straight, white sandy beach with beautiful (mostly rock free) turquoise waters.
At the north end there is a beautiful reef, that is exposed during low tide, where you can walk on and explore the reef. This is definitely worth the walk (approx 3km return) or you can park at the Key West (Mullalloo Beach North) carpark and walk down from there.
It also has all the facilities you need for a day at the beach including plenty of BBQ’s and picnic shelters as well as several eating options.
