Perth Water Bikes Co. hires water bikes from the South Perth Foreshore. From here you can pedal your way up to the Matagarup Bridge and Optus Stadium or in the other direction past The Swan Brewery and famous Blue Boat Shed. Hire options from 30 mins and longer all year round, plus you can enjoy special tours with picnics, bubbles and beers (yes the water bikes are equipped with drink holders) in the warmer months.
SUP Central WA (Matilda Bay)
Matilda Bay Crawley SUP Central WA hire water bikes on the Matilda Bay Crawley Foreshore. Pedal to the Bird Sanctuary to the south east or to Eliza’s Statue to see what’s she’s wearing on the day to the northeast. Hire available from a minimum of 25 minutes. It’s a lovely piece of the foreshore to enjoy a packed picnic on the grass or to dine in or get something to takeaway from Bayside Kitchen, also located here.
Mandurah Cruises
Cycle alongside the dolphins on a water bike hired from Mandurah Cruises. Explore the estuary and canals where the Mandurah dolophins can often be spotted and interacted with. Water bikes are quiet and both motor and paddle free and less likely to scare the dolphins off than motor powered water craft. Hire water bikes in the warmer months with a minimum 30 minute hire and 1 hour hire intervals available also.
Aqua Play Rottnest
Explore Rottnest from the water on a water bike tour with Aqua Play Rottnest. Tours start from Thomson Bay North near the Ferry Jetty and run for 1 hour and 15 mins. Include a Water Bike tour as part of your Rottnest Island visit, stay or holiday during the warmer months.
